Introducing the world's first collection of large-format cinema lenses that maintain an aperture value of T1.3 across every focal length! Say hello to the new SIGMA Aizu Prime Line, setting a fresh benchmark in the world of filmmaking. This collection masterfully blends modern sharpness with an organic, naturally soft aesthetic, infusing visuals with rich texture and depth. It features unparalleled brightness, refined expression, and dependable performance. Establishing a new paradigm of trusted technology and quality, this collection comprises 12 lenses with a consistent T1.3 aperture across a range from 18mm to 125mm. The initial release includes eight lenses spanning focal lengths from 25mm to 75mm, addressing core cinematic production requirements.

Two new Sigma lenses are in the works! Sigma has announced the exciting development of the Sigma 28-45mm T2 FF and the Sigma 28-105mm T3 FF. These innovative lenses are the first from Sigma's new AF Cine Line for full format Cine cameras which features autofocus compatibility, marking a significant advancement in film production technology. Both lenses build on the superior optical systems found in Sigma’s Art lenses, delivering outstanding image quality, precise autofocus, and exceptional tracking abilities. Designed with the ergonomic features essential for professional cinema work, these lenses are set to make a notable impact on the industry. Available in both L-Mount and Sony E-Mount, the Sigma 28-45mm T2 FF is slated for release in November 2025, while the Sigma 28-105mm T3 FF will follow in Spring 2026.

Ignacio Fernández is a full-time photographer, dueling between wedding photography and astrophotography. “When I discovered nightscapes 10 years ago, I knew I had to capture the Milky Way myself,” he says. “What I didn’t know was that it would completely change my life. When I’m not working at a wedding, curiously enough, the moon and clouds decide the plan for the night.” We came across this awe-inspiring Milky Way image he created with a powerful combination of Sony Alpha cameras and sharp Sony prime lenses and had to learn more.
