Our Portrait Lighting & Posing Hands-On Workshop offers a rich educational experience, with seasoned Master Photographer, Peter Gold! You will acquire practical, hands-on experience using various classic lighting and posing techniques that will bring your photography to a new level. Even in less-than-ideal locations, Peter will teach you reliable guidelines to follow for portrait sessions of both people and animals that will help you reduce stress and enable you to produce outstanding images no matter the obstacle.
During this four-session workshop, you will learn how to adapt different lighting methods to various settings, including both indoor and outdoor, utilizing strobes, LED lighting, reflectors, and natural sunlight. This includes a hands-on session offering participants the chance to create portraits at the architecturally stunning Central Public Library!
Before concluding the workshop, each participant will have the opportunity to submit their top two images from the Library shoot for projection and receive some constructive critique. This is an excellent way to enhance your photography skills, learn from your peers and become closer to the photography community. Prizes will be given to the top three images presented.
