We can never get enough lenses! That’s why we are stoked to hear Tokina has released three new ATX-M lenses for Sony E-Mount! Great for both amateurs and professionals, Tokina has created the Tokina ATX-M 23mm, ATX-M 33mm and the ATX-M 56mm. All three of these lenses have an F1.4 aperture and are super compact and lightweight, making them great for all kinds of photographic adventures!
The Tokina ATX-M 23mm, 33mm, and 56mm are all a part of Tokina’s excellent ATX-M Series. They have been designed with low-dispersion glass elements that provide sharp focus, high contrast and low distortion. With a common minimum aperture of 1.4mm, these lenses allow for an extremely shallow depth of field and impressive low light capability. The construction also allows for extremely fast but silent autofocus and includes a 5-axis in-body stabilization mechanism. Additionally, they all feature clickless aperture ring controls that are smooth and functional without being cumbersome.
Specifically looking at the Tokina ATX-M 23mm, it features a wide-angle of approximately equal to 35mm lenses with full-frame sensor cameras. With a minimum focus distance of 0.3 meters (less than a foot), the close-up possibilities are almost endless, including food, product photography and more.
