The Power to Zoom
The RF-S 14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ lens features a Power Zoom function. This feature allows the user to twist the lens barrel left or right to initiate a multi-speed (customizable) powered zoom for smooth and professional looking results. This lens is able to be used with the built-in camera zoom lever on certain EOS camera models.

When paired with an EOS R-mount camera that has In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS), the Coordinated IS provides an IS effect of 7.5 at the centre, and stops and 5.5 stops in the corners.
High-speed, Smooth and Quiet Autofocus
The lens features a leadscrew-type STM focus drive system which provides smooth and natural AF. This is especially beneficial to video users because of its combination of quiet operation and outstanding smoothness of focus changes during actual recording.
