The 49 Things You Need To Shoot A Wedding

For wedding photographers Jeff and Cat, there are 49 things they need to shoot a wedding, and three-quarters of them start with the word Canon!

Starting off is their Canon EOS R5 mirrorless cameras. Jeff and Cat still love their EF glass, so they use the Canon EF-RF mount adapter when they're not shooting with RF lenses. Jeff shoots with the 35mm f/1.4 L and the 85mm f/1.4 L lenses, while Cat shoots with the 50mm f/1.2 L and the 135mm f/2 L lenses. When they need to go light, they go for their handy STM lenses.

Of course, they have tons of batteries and a few chargers in case they get low, so that's another 10+ things right there. Since the R5 has dual slots, Jeff and Cat use both CF Express and SD cards, which fit perfectly in their Pelican memory card holders. While they’re due for an upgrade, their Canon Speedlites have served them well and really haven’t given them much reason to change them. Finally a few accessories: lens cloths, air puffer, lens pen, camera straps, lightbars, studio lights, and light stands to round it off.

If they could fit our Canon Professional Printer in our bag, we’d gladly bring it along to our wedding shoots, bumping their total to 50!
