A little holiday present from Nikon! New Nikon Z6 & Z7 Firmware 3.20! This new update allows your Z 6/Z 6II or Z 7/Z 7II camera to output ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW footage directly from the image sensor to a compatible external capture device! Get more vibrant colours while transferring and rendering your footage faster!
A little different than your regular firmware update. This one requires you to ship your camera to Nikon with a service fee. It’s super easy though!
- Carefully pack and ship your Z 6/Z 6II or Z 7/Z 7II body to Nikon’s Service Department using your preferred carrier.
- Nikon will upgrade your camera and perform a free clean and check service within 48 hours of receiving it.
- Once the upgrade is complete, you’ll have your camera back within about 3 business days.
Once your camera is back, you will have support for RAW video output as well as support for Blackmagic Design external video recorders!
