During the 2026 Exposure Photography Festival, The Camera Store hosted the Brian Henson Memorial Exhibition to commemorate Brian Henson, a renowned fine art photographer and beloved friend. In accordance with the wishes of his estate, Brian’s pieces were made available for purchase throughout the festival, with all proceeds being donated to the RESET Society of Calgary. We are overjoyed to share that we raised $8,600 in Brian's honour! A huge thank you to everyone who bought one of Brian’s prints, contributing to a meaningful cause and celebrating Brian’s extraordinary legacy.

Brian Henson was a highly regarded fine art photographer based in Calgary, known for his dedication to traditional photographic processes and his striking hand-printed black-and-white work. He was also a longtime friend of The Camera Store and a valued presence within Calgary’s photographic community. Brian passed away in 2022, leaving behind a meaningful and enduring legacy of meticulously crafted, hand-printed and framed photographs that reflect both his artistic vision and his commitment to the medium.
The $8,600 raised during the Brian Henson Memorial Exhibition was accepted by Krista McLellan, the Development Manager of the RESET Society of Calgary, on behalf of the society. RESET is a non-profit, charitable organization that provides the only comprehensive system of services in Alberta designed specifically for women who are survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking. This exhibition allowed Brian’s artwork to leave a meaningful mark, celebrating his legacy while aiding an organization dedicated to healing, empowerment, and positive change.
