The Tascam DR-701D 6-Track Audio Recorder is perfect for single shooter video production. The DR-701D includes a timecode generator, and can also be jammed from a SMPTE generator, camera, or smart slate, and HDMI in/out provides REC trigger functionality.
The 4 input channels can be mixed and recorded to a stereo track, while maintaining separate WAV files, for a total of 6 channels of recording. Multiple units can be linked together to recorder even more tracks.
