Customizable for any shooting style
Four focus hold buttons allow easy access in any orientation. A function ring can be assigned to control APS-C/Full Frame switching, Preset Focus, or Power Focus. A dedicated switch is also provided for optical stabilization ON/OFF switching and mode selection.
Quick, easy focus adjustment
If focus locks onto the wrong subject, it can be returned to the intended subject simply by rotating the focus ring when the Full-time DMF switch is ON. A Focus Range Limit switch allows the lens’s focus range to be limited for faster focusing. This type of detailed control significantly enhances overall focus flexibility.
Reliable in challenging outdoor conditions
A dust and moisture resistant design ensures high reliability in outdoor conditions where light rain and airborne dust might otherwise be a problem. The front lens element features a fluorine coating that prevents contaminants from sticking to the lens surface while making it easier to clean.
