I had the adapter for the original APS-C sized GR back in the early twenty-teens. It was bulky but it worked (though I really wish Ricoh would revive the old film GR21 in digital form). Sadly, the camera and its mounting adapter have cheapened CONSIDERABLY since the first generation. So this adapter is now far too heavy to actually stay on the camera using the Ricoh-branded mounting accessory. I took it out TWICE... and TWICE it fell of the camera within two-blocks and bounced down the street. And it was NOT because I mounted it wrong. It's because it's too heavy for the cheap, flexible plastic and tiny ring-engagement mechanism Ricoh chose to employ. A TOTAL waste of money (and this coming from a lifelong film/digital Ricoh fan). I wouldn't even trust this to stay on the camera if I had it mounted to a tripod.
