The Leica D-Lux Typ 109 Automatic Lens Cap easily installs to the front of your Leica D-Lux camera automatically protecting the lens the camera is not in use. Don't worry about losing lens, or scratching the front lens element again. The 3 spring loaded petal doors automatically open when the camera is turned on, and close with a solid seal with the lens is retracted.
The cap petals also act as a lens hood when the camera is in use helping to block stray light, and protect from accidental bumps.
