Online Meet-ups During COVID19 Pandemic

In response to the COVID19 pandemic, the Beers & Cameras community is currently hosting video meet-ups on Zoom via the phone App or website. Visit the Beers & Cameras Website for more information and the meet-up schedule.

The Camera Store proudly sponsors the first Canadian based Beers & Cameras meet-up chapter. With monthly meet-ups led and hosted by staff from The Camera Store; Ron Bubnich, Louie Villanueva, and Chris Donovan! Enjoy special guests, photo walks, giveaways, hands-on experiences with new gear as well as indulging in tasty local craft beer around Calgary.

What we do:

Each month we meet up at local breweries and restaurants in Calgary. All while taking pictures, geeking-out on gear, and enjoying delicious indie-beer. The meet-ups are attended by photographers, videographers and creatives all looking to build a stronger local community where networking is encouraged.

During these events, taking photos while drinking and eating at the venues and meeting fellow creatives is what this meet-up is about. If you have ever wanted to surround yourself with artists with your similar interests, this is your chance.

The venues:

We choose the best local venues for our meet-ups! The venues we visit will not only get to have our outstanding group as patrons, but they also will have the opportunity to repost social media photos from the meet-ups. The venues are free to use these photos on their social media accounts while tagging the photographer and Beers and Cameras' Instagram and Facebook accts. Best of all, as the community grows so will our ability to network and potentially partner-up with local businesses for special projects and more. It’s a great time to get involved in Calgary!
