Wings Over the Rockies 2025 Photo Contest
Entry Deadline: April 30, 2025.
Entry Fee: $20 per five (5) image entries.
A portion of all entry fees will be donated to the Ross MacDonald Memorial Legacy Fund.
Eligibility: Open to all photographers of all skill levels, regardless of age or location.
Categories:
- Wildlife: Portraits and behaviour of animals and birds in their natural environments.
- Landscapes & Flora: Celebrating the beauty and diversity of ecosystems through land, water, and plant imagery.
- Our Place in Nature: Reflecting the complexities of human interaction with the environment, aligned with this year's festival theme.
- Climates in Action: Showcasing extreme weather events and the impact of a changing climate.
- Youth (15 & Under): Open to young photographers; images may fit any of the above categories while considering the theme "Our Place in Nature."
Prizes and Recognition:
- Category winners will receive prize packages valued at up to $500 in gear.
- Winning images will be printed and showcased at the Wings Over the Rockies Gala Event on May 10, 2025.
- Winners will be notified prior to the festival opening on May 5, 2025.
