The new Sony RX1R III pushes boundaries with its incredible 61-megapixel Exmor R™ back-illuminated CMOS sensor, working hand in hand with the BIONZ XR™ engine to achieve jaw-dropping resolution, reduced noise, and an impressive dynamic range. The sensor uses AR (Anti-Reflection) coating and skips the optical low-pass filter to guarantee every shot looks impeccable. The RX1R III's integrated premium ZEISS® Sonnar T* 35mm F2 lens offers excellent image quality, and by optimizing the position of the lens and the imaging surface down to the micron, it achieves high optical performance in a compact form factor.
To make sure every shot counts, the RX1R III includes a groundbreaking AI-powered processor that intelligently tracks subjects with ease. It precisely detects body shapes, head positions, and even eye movement, whether shooting photos or video, even if a face is partially hidden. A comprehensive autofocus system boasts 693 densely packed phase-detection points, covering roughly 78% (for still image shooting) of the frame for maximum accuracy in still photography.
While the camera features a fixed lens, its Step Crop Shooting function enhances flexibility, offering the versatility of three prime lenses equivalent to 35mm, 50mm, and 70mm.
