We are excited to introduce Leica's latest remarkable addition to the Leica SL System. Oh, and that's not all! Leica has also introduced two new SL Lenses into the mix, the Leica APO-Macro-Elmarit-SL 100 f/2.8 and the Leica Summilux-SL 50 f/1.4 ASPH. 

The new Leica SL3-P stands out with its advanced 44MP Double Resolution BSI sensor, designed to deliver exceptional clarity and precision. The sensor offers two resolution options, 44MP and 26M, allowing users to tailor image quality to their specific needs without sacrificing detail. Its ability to capture an impressive 14 stops of dynamic range ensures accurate rendering of highlights and shadows, even in complex lighting conditions.

This new sensor possesses 819 autofocus points in combination with Phase Detection, Contrast Detection, Object Detection and Advanced Machine Learning algorithms, offering the fastest and most reliable autofocusing experience of any Leica camera to date and making it an ideal tool for creatives working in dynamic or fast-moving environments. The SL3-P also achieves a remarkable burst rate of 40 frames per second with continuous autofocus, ensuring that critical moments are captured with precision and clarity.

Another noteworthy feature is its exceptional readout speed, which, compared to its predecessor, the SL3-S, the SL3-P's sensor achieves up to a 156% faster readout rate, significantly reducing lag and enabling quick processing of high-resolution files. The improved readout rate not only reduces rolling shutter effects but also enhances the fluidity of continuous shooting, ensuring each frame is rendered with uncompromising accuracy. 

Taking a closer look at video, the Leica SL3-P takes production to a professional level with advanced features tailored to filmmakers and content creators. Its capability to record 8K RAW Open Gate ensures exceptional image quality, delivering detailed and vibrant footage, while 6K and 4K recording options offer versatility for various shooting scenarios. 

The camera's redesigned Video Profile menu enhances usability, enabling users to switch seamlessly between settings during production. Essential tools such as False Color provide accurate exposure control, ensuring that highlights and shadows are perfectly balanced, while the HDMI Mirroring feature simplifies external monitoring setups. These tools are particularly valuable for professionals working in complex video environments. 

When it comes to build, the Leica SL3-P is engineered to meet the demands of professionals who require both reliability and performance in their equipment. Its body incorporates a solid metal housing that ensures durability and is complemented by its IP54 weather-sealing, offering resistance against dust and water, ensuring dependable operation even in challenging environmental conditions. Beyond its structural integrity, the SL3-P is designed with the sleek and understated "P" aesthetic. The iconic Red Dot has been removed, and the buttons and dials are blacked out, giving the camera a minimalist and discreet appearance, allowing it to blend seamlessly into a variety of settings without drawing attention. 

We can't forget that Leica also introduced two new SL Lenses, each designed to enhance creative possibilities for photographers. The Leica APO-Macro-Elmarit-SL 100 f/2.8 lens offers unparalleled imaging quality, particularly for macro and portrait work. With a 1:1 reproduction ratio and a focus limiter, this lens provides sharp and detailed results, even in close-up scenarios. Its advanced apochromatic design minimizes chromatic aberrations, delivering accurate colour rendering and clarity. Built with durability in mind, the full-metal body is resistant to dust and water, making it an excellent choice for outdoor and studio use alike. The Leica Summilux-SL 50 f/1.4 ASPH stands out as a compact yet powerful option for those who prioritize performance in a lightweight form. Featuring a fast and silent Voice Coil Motor drive autofocus system, it ensures precise focus with minimal disruption, making it well-suited for a range of applications, from portraits to low-light photography. Additionally, the lens includes AquaDura coating for durability and IP54-rated weather sealing, ensuring reliable operation in various conditions.
