Finding coloured film these days feels challenging and can cost you a tonne. Luckily Flic Flim’s new Elektra 100 is here and ready to help you create stunning still photography! Elektra 100 is a 100 ISO speed, 35-millimetre colour negative film and is actually respooled KODAK Aerocolor IV, a film designed for areal photography. Since this film is still being made today, Elektra 100 isn’t a limited release and is here to stay.
Flic Film Elektra 100 produces stunning stills as it has a wide exposure latitude, natural colours with a slightly enhanced sensitivity to red and beautiful sharpness overall thanks to its T-grain emulsion.
It is to be noted that this film is prone to light piping, which is when light travels up to the film meter and can affect the first few frames of your role. To help prevent this, make sure to load the film in subdued light.
Flic Film Elektra 100 is developed in C-41, which pairs beautifully with Flic Film’s C-41 Developing Kit, making it easy for you to process your stills at home.
Overall Flic Film Elektra 100 is perfect for all general stills needs and can be used in a variety of shooting locations from early morning walks to architecture, landscapes, pretty much anything that makes you happy!
