We are excited to announce the new Sony ZV-E10 II, the highly anticipated second generation of Sony’s best-selling mirrorless ZV-E10 camera. Building off the original ZV-E10, which has been a cornerstone APS-C camera in Sony’s ZV lineup, the design offers an intuitive, compact, and versatile tool for content creators at any experience level. The new ZV-E10 II also retains all the beloved features of its predecessor, such as Creative Looks, Product Showcase Setting, Background Defocus function, and the vari-angle flip screen, while enhancing them to boost sophistication and ease of use. Sony has also announced the new Sony E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II lens. This compact APS-C power zoom lens is lightweight and offers enhanced autofocus (AF) and video performance compared to the first-generation model.
The new Sony ZV-E10 II boasts significant internal hardware upgrades over its predecessor, including an advanced 26-megapixel (approx. effective) Exmor R™ CMOS sensor and the integration of Sony’s cutting-edge BIONZ XR™ image processing engine. Among the array of updates are improved autofocus and video capturing capabilities, the innovative Cinematic Vlog Setting, a new vertical format user interface (UI), an upgraded large-capacity Sony Z battery for extended usage, and enhanced connectivity options for seamless live streaming and data transfer. True to the essence of the ZV Series, this camera has been meticulously redesigned to simplify the content creation process even further, allowing creators to concentrate less on technical settings and more on creating their artistic vision.
The ZV-E10 II is equipped with two stand-out features that allow users to create high-quality content directly from the camera: Creative Looks and Cinematic Vlog Setting. Whether capturing stills or videos, users can instantly elevate their visuals by choosing from ten Creative Look options: Standard (ST), Portrait (PT), Neutral (NT), Vivid (VV), Vivid 2 (VV2), Film (FL), Instant (IN), Soft Highkey (SH), Black & White (BW), and Sepia (SE). These looks are highly customizable, with eight different parameters available for fine-tuning, enabling creators to perfect their content. Once adjusted, up to six custom styles can be saved in the camera for convenient access and reuse. The Cinematic Vlog Setting allows creators to produce top-tier cinematic video content effortlessly. This feature automatically optimizes the aspect ratio, frame rate, and autofocus transition speed for cinematic video recording. Additionally, users can enhance their footage by selecting from five "Looks," such as S-Cinetone™ for improved skin tones, and applying one of four "Moods" to emphasize specific colours, offering a wide array of options for creative expression.
