Join us virtually for a unique presentation on the breath-hold photography of a Canadian freediver, highlighting two critical themes that are at the heart of their passion for the ocean: mental health and environmental awareness.
As an environmental engineer and mental health advocate, Luca Malagtui firmly believes that helping individuals with their mental well-being is the key to creating a connection with nature and the ocean. Luca hopes that their photography will inspire people to reconnect with their mind and body by utilizing freediving and breath-holding to face and overcome personal struggles. Ultimately, the goal is to ignite a passion for water in individuals, allowing them to connect with their origin through the lens of breath-hold photography.
