Two vintage photographs of Richard Avedon from the 1950s gave the initial inspiration for the collection Susanne von Meiss. For more than 25 years, the Swiss journalist, journalist and businesswoman has been collecting photographs with a special focus on "Allure". The Collection Susanne von Meiss covers a wide range of styles and styles from the 1920s to the present, and currently comprises about 400 works from Japan to South America. The works of internationally renowned photographers, but most not their iconic pictures, but the unknown classics. The personal selection ranges from Diane Arbus, Richard Avedon, Rene Burri and Henri Cartier-Bresson to Horst P. Horst, Irving Penn, Paolo Roversi and August Sander to contemporary artists such as Tracey Emin, Nan Goldin, Daido Moriyama, Richard Prince and Juergen Plate.
